Dr. Darrel Clabough

Serving Choto, Northshore, and surrounding areas of Knoxville, TN

Dr. Clabough was born and raised in Friendsville, Tennessee and is the oldest son of W. Kenneth and Harriet Clabough. He graduated from Friendsville High School in 1974 and pursued his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at the University of Tennessee Knoxville graduating in 1978. He graduated from The University of Tennessee Dental School in 1982, married his wife, Stacy, who he met in Memphis while in dental school, and returned to the Maryville area to start his family and his own private practice.

He grew a successful practice on Sanderson Street in Alcoa where he worked for 35 years. From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Clabough provided full dental services to the underprivileged children of Blount and Anderson County using a state of the art mobile dental unit. Dr. Clabough, his wife Stacy, and his two daughters dedicated their time and careers to the children of Blount and Anderson County for three years before returning to private dental practice. His family’s time serving the community on a daily basis was eye opening and life changing, and Dr. Clabough is grateful for his opportunity to serve children.

Dr. Clabough attended the Pride Institute and LV Panky Institute following his dental school graduation. He is a member of the local dental societies. Dr. Clabough’s experience provides his patients the opportunity to offer specialized procedures such as root canals, surgical extractions, implants, periodontal procedures, and cosmetic procedures done in his office along with general dentistry procedures such as cleanings, sealants, tooth colored filings, and crowns.

Dr. Clabough’s goal is to provide his patients with a strong sense of trust in his recommended treatment and confidence in his skills knowing they will be comfortable while receiving the highest quality dentistry available.

Darrel and Stacy have three children and eight grandchildren. Darrel is an avid outdoorsman, has traveled the world for hunting and fishing excursions, and enjoys sharing his love for the outdoors with his children and grandchildren.
